Thanks to YOUTUBER baltamatrix we now have a review of the Takara release of Human Alliance Soundwave with Dylan Gould and Laserbeak. There should be no difference this time between the takara and hasbro versions. I think he looks okay from the top up.

Interview with Transformers Prime Arcees voice actor

Thanks to the Transformers Facebook page we now have an interview with Sumalee Montano, voice actress of Transformers Prime Arcee.  Read below;

Chalrie Levitz asks: What was your favorite Arcee episode in season 1 and why?

Sumalee Montano: For me it’s a tie between Predatory and Crisscross. I love Crisscross because of the amazing fight and scenes between Starscream and Arcee. Both characters are at their utter best…and worst!!!

Predatory is also a favorite of mine because of the style and tone of the episode. It’s strikingly different from the others episodes, and it’s a huge turning point in Arcee’s character development. We meet her nemesis, Airachnid, and gain insight into Arcee’s vulnerabilities: her guilt over her partners’ deaths, losing those she cares about (Jack), and struggling with a desire for revenge (against Airachnid). Those are some pretty hefty character traits that, as an actor, I really enjoyed delving into.

Transformers Collectors Club Issue 42 infomation

The Transformers Collectors club have updated their website to say that the TFCC Magazine issue 42 will start shipping Thanksgiving week and that It will include a look at the transformers Prime toys. They also released a picture of the front cover. They said

This is just the tip of the magazine iceberg as Issue 42 also has a great interview with the voice of G1 Tracks and Cosmos, Michael McConnohie, two all new MTMTE profiles, a retrospective article by Jim Sorenson and the finale to the 2011 Comic storyline "Battle Lines." A couple crazy twists has changed what you thought about this G1 story-line forever!

Shattered glass DRIFT and RUNABOUT pre-orders to begin 2012

The Offical Transformers collectors club posted on their website that their membership exclusive figures for 2012; Runabout and SG Drift will go up for pre-order in Januarary 2012. 

New DOTM Soundwave Images

Thanks to TFW2005 member SoundwaveDotm we now have even more images of dark of the moon Deluxe class Soundwave. He looks slightly better than the previous pictures we saw but I am still reserving judgement to a GLORIOUS HD review by youtube Peaugh. You can view the rest of these images here.

New Pictures of Transformers Prime Takara toys

Thanks to HK-TF we now have images of the Takara Tomy version of Transfomers Prime Deluxe Bumblebee and Voyager Prime and Bulkhead. These versions are meant to have 'Takara exclusive' paint decos compared to their hasbro counterparts. More Rager and Spray images

Hot on the heels on Maketoy releasing pictures of their 3rd part mini-bots I-gears facebook page has been updated with even more images of I-GEAR'S RAGER and SPRAY. As aformentioned, Spray is based on Seaspray, while Rager on Huffer. See below for the images.

More Maketoy Hover And Bomber

Hot on the heels of the release of Maketoys Battle Tanker (Can now be pre-ordered here for anybody interested) are pictures of their Hover And Bomber minibots. For those not in the know, similar to I-gear's Rager and Spray, these items are based on two g1 Minibots. Hover is an homage to Seaspray, as is I-gears Spray, while Hover to Powerglide. I found these images on HK-TF, and these images compare the Maketoy Hover and Bomber to the Transformers Universe Mini - bots. These versions will obviously be better articulated but in scale with previous minibots except windcharger.

New 3rd Party Product- Justitoys WST great Changer

Robot Kingdom has announced, via sticking a pre-order up on their site, that they will be having an exclusive version of their Wst Solo Assault Group, a scaled down version of g1 sixshot, this time in a deco homaging the Japanese only character Greatshot called Great Changer. Due the first quarter of 2012, Great changer will be an exclusive to robotkingdom. You can preorder him here.

Mastermind creations CYCLOPS new images

Thanks to the Facebook page of ENCLINE DESIGNS we now have images of the prototype of the mastermind creations Cyclops figure. This figure is due to be leader class size and it is based off of the hearts of steel Shockwave design. Encline took these pictures at the Vancouver Metrocon convention.

Thanks to YOUTUBER'S thecollector75 and FXFRANZ I can now bring you reviews of JUNKHEAP AND SKY SHADOW and DOTM HALF-TRACK receptively. Although half-track has been out in the states for a while, we have yet to have seen a good review in HD of him. Items of note in thecollector75's review is he shows off JUNKHEAP riding WRECK-GAR. If you feel like purchasing these figures after watching these reviews, Kapow Toys last I checked has all of these figures still in stock.

Better look at Maketoy Battle Tanker

Thanks to HK-TF we now have a better look at battle tanker, this time with RTS  Prime in the armour. Items of note include that the arm sections/gauntlets attach via 3mm clip and the fact in the instructions the Hasbro figure is not blacked out unlike with Fansproject's products which is odd seeing though Fansroject repportedly worked with them on this product. Transformers Prime U.K. release confirmed

Kapow Toys has confirmed, via their facebook page, that the transformers Prime toy line is due for release in January 2012. They posted;

Why do the U.S. always get the good stuff? Transformers Prime deluxe first edition wave released

Thanks to TFW member woolypanda we now have confirmation of the TF Prime first edition wave being released in the U.s. (Minus the voyagers). He spotted them in toys r us Fort Worth, Texas. The first edition wave is not due in the U.k. until 2012, but if you want to order some now, check here

IDW's February releases- Infestation 2

IDW Publishing has announced that they will be releasing Infestation 2 February 2012. For those of you who do not know Infestation 2 is the sequel to Infestation, a comic released in Januarary 2011 that came to fruition during the classic 'who would win in a fight' argument that was based on Zombies from the Zombies vs Robots continuity crossing over to other properties IDW has the comic licenses for, this time set in the Transformers Heart's of Steel universe to avoid impacting the main Transformers plot going on at the moment. Maketoy Battle tankor released

The third parts Maketoy Battle tankor upgrade has been released in Japan. Thanks to Japenese Site 2Chan and TFW2005.com for mirroring the images, we now have a vague idea of what United G2 Optimus Prime looks like in the armour although what the american/english RTS G2 Prime looks like in the armour is yet to be seen. It is also yet to be seen if this will be sold in the UK via Kapow toys or otherwise. I myself am waiting for a review from Peaugh or Vange1us but that's just me, it does not look bad for Maketoys first product.

Japan is on a roll

Transformers Generations Junkheap and Sky Shadow released in the U.S.

Thanks to TFW2005 member Gen. Magnus we now have confirmation of Generations wave 5 release. These highly anticipated figures are yet to be confirmed for a UK release but let's hope for miracles! These figures were found in Toys"R"Us in Tucson, AZ 

The year of the Dragon- or maybe of the knock offs?

Thanks to the Planet Iacon Singapore Transformers fans unite Facebook group we now have images of the supposed new deco on Tranformers Dotm Ultimate Optimus Prime. Due Januarary 2012, I give you; Dark of the moon ultimate optimus Prime; Chinese new year edition. Which to be honest looks like a fan-boy mocked it up in Photoshop but I'll let you decide:
